Katherine joins the Isle team as a Marketing and Operations Coordinator. She was introduced to the water quality sector during her time at the Water Environment Federation (WEF) where she worked for nearly 3 years on a range of projects, including assisting the technical publications department, supporting marketing initiatives, preparing materials for WEF’s annual conference, and contributing articles to member newsletters. Katherine also has experience as a freelance writer for local newspapers in Washington, DC.

Most recently, Katherine completed a master’s degree in Urban and Economic Geography at Utrecht University where she focused her research on energy and telecommunications infrastructure. She brings experience translating complex ideas and research into accessible information for many audiences, engaging and connecting with stakeholders, and collaborating across teams to plan and deliver quality products and events.
