Elvira is a water industry professional with a PhD in Industrial Engineering and over ten years of experience in the water industry. Mostly in wastewater treatment consultancy, process design experience in wastewater, water and seawater desalination treatment works, R&D experience in sludge treatment and advanced control systems.

Elvira joined Isle in 2016 and has been involved in two European H2020 projects and other consultancy projects. Prior to joining Isle, Elvira had over ten years of experience in the water industry sector. She worked as a Project Manager for an engineering and consultancy company where she managed and delivered a wide range of water projects for both, public water agencies and private water companies. She also worked for one innovative technology star-up company specialised in the development of advanced control systems for wastewater treatment works and anaerobic co- digestion systems.

Qualifications

PhD in Industrial Engineering and BSc in Chemistry.
