Meena is a consultant at Isle Utilities Asia-Pacific, based in Adelaide, South Australia. With a PhD in water engineering and a decade of experience working with water utilities, research organizations, and NGOs in Australia and India, Meena has demonstrated excellence across water, wastewater, and environmental domains. Her passion for the circular economy and resource recovery drives her commitment to sustainable solutions.

Focused on achieving operational excellence and successful project outcomes, Meena leverages strong project management skills. She adeptly applies circular economy principles, resource recovery techniques, and environmental strategies to optimize water utility operations. Drawing from expertise in water quality management and emerging contaminants, she ensures the implementation of rigorous measures to deliver safe and clean water supplies. Her analytical skills and expertise in risk assessment enable her to identify and mitigate potential risks in water and wastewater treatment processes, ensuring the highest safety and quality standards.

She is also the Co-Founder of a not-for-profit organisation: Shramyog, based in the Himalayan region in India. Her volunteering activities, developing young professionals, fundraising activities, and aid missions, reflect her commitment to the industry. Leading her to be awarded the 2020 Australian Water Association SA Young Water Professional of the Year.
