Meena is a consultant with Isle Utilities Australia, based in Adelaide.

She has a PhD in Water Engineering and possesses over 10 years of experience in the water, wastewater and environment sectors. She applies her engineering skills, working towards operational excellence and limiting environmental impacts. Her passion and focus lie in developing the knowledge, tools and influence to promote a socially inclusive and vibrant sustainable water future for everyone.

Prior to joining Isle, Meena worked as a process engineer with water utilities working towards optimising operations to increase efficiency across wastewater and reuse plants. She has experience leading various projects and has been heavily involved in project designing, implementation, and identification of KPIs for water, wastewater and recycling treatment plants.

She is also the Co-Founder of a not-for-profit organisation: Shramyog, based in the Himalayan region in India. Her volunteering activities, developing young professionals, fundraising activities, and aid missions, reflect her commitment to the industry. Leading her to be awarded the 2020 Australian Water Association SA Young Water Professional of the Year.
