Denim-Reece is an environmental scientist with water quality monitoring expertise and experience in the field, in addition to water level data analysis and preparation for metropolitan municipality and catchment level water management decision-making tools such as the City of Cape Town Decision Support System (DSS) under the New Water Program for the Atlantis, Cape Flats, and Table Mountain Group (TMG) aquifer projects. Denim travelled extensively, living and working in different cultures while gaining valuable experience in teaching and working in Asia. At Isle, Denim works on the South African industrial and municipal Technology Approval Groups as well as consulting projects with technology developers and technology users. He is also a technology scout and undertakes due diligence assessments of water and energy related innovations.

Qualifications

Honours in Environmental and Geographical Sciences with a focus on water quality, environmental law, and policies regarding climate change; University of Cape Town

BSc with triple majors in Economics, Environmental Science and Geology from Rhodes University (with distinction)
