Alessia is an environmental engineer with a Master’s Degree in Engineering and Innovative Technologies for the Environment at the University of Palermo (Italy).

From 2021, she has carried out research studies as a research assistant in the field of Hydraulic and Maritime Constructions and Hydrology at the University of Bologna. During the academic year 2022-2023, she is tutoring students for the course of study in environmental engineering at the Department of Civil, Chemical, Environmental and Materials Engineering of the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna (Italy).

She has been an active member in the Project “Miur Smart Watertech Smart Community” for the development and implementation of innovative technologies for monitoring and system control of the water utility of Genova (Italy), by using data analysis coming from several real field-testing sites in the water distribution system. During her university years she developed a passion for the evaluation and management of water resources.

Over the last few years, she participated in several training, conferences and other events concerning the water industry. She is enthusiastic to be part of Isle and having the chance to investigate the new technologies that are raising more and more in the water industry.

In Isle, Alessia is a Junior Technology Consultant.
