The H2020 INCOVER project comes to an end…

Last month, the final Innovation Workshop for the INCOVER project took place in Almería, Spain. The agenda included a site visit to El Toyo WWTP (one of the four project demonstration sites) and a Masterclass on financial support opportunities to accelerate commercialisation.

Last month, the final Innovation Workshop for the INCOVER project took place in Almería, Spain. The agenda included a site visit to El Toyo WWTP (one of the four project demonstration sites) and a Masterclass on financial support opportunities to accelerate commercialisation.

ISLE’s role

To ensure the project results are exploited after the completion of the project, Isle led WP5 “Boosting market update of INCOVER technologies” and was responsible for the development of post-INCOVER strategies to accelerate the market access of the technologies demonstrated.

• Awards won

-POWER Contest Idea for Sustainable Communities – 2019

-Water Industry Awards – 2018 (Sludge & Resource Recovery Project of the Year).

• Internal Collaboration (INCOVER partners) – The EC LIFE INTEXT project (2019-2023) has recently been awarded to further validate some technologies developed by several INCOVER Partners. Other collaborations are being explored.

• External collaboration (End-user with INCOVER partner) – During the second Innovation Workshop, a water company expressed interest in testing the P adsorption media developed by DTI and Aarhus University. Confidential agreements are being finalised.
