Karyn Georges, a senior consultant for Isle UK completed the Prudential Ride 100 cycle event, raising over £1000 for charity. Karyn said,

I’m doing the Prudential Ride 100 cycle event this year, having been inspired by watching the thousands of cyclists go through Kingston in previous events. On the day I started early to follow a 100 mile route from London into Surrey, up and down a few hills and then finishing on the Mall. I picked Mind as a charity to raise money for because the chances are, if you haven’t experienced mental health issues there will be someone close to you who has. Mind provide support and advice to those who need it, and campaign for better services and understanding around mental health issues. A big thank you to everyone for sponsoring me and the words of encouragement before the ride. It was really good fun – so much so that at the 50 mile point I decided to try and put together an Isle team for next year. You’ll be pleased to know that by the 75 mile point this desire had totally disappeared. I managed it in 7 hours 50 mins and have raised nearly £1000 for Mind which is awesome!
