About the event
IFAT Environmental Technology Forum Africa, which celebrated its premiere from September 15 to 18, 2015 in Johannesburg, has positioned itself strongly in the African market. The first edition saw over 2273 trade visitors from 38 countries engage with 116 exhibitors from 13 countries, taking up over 4 500 square meters. In addition, the trade fair boasted a high-caliber forum program. The next edition, IFAT Africa 2017, trade fair for Water, Sewage, Refuse and Recycling, will take place in Johannesburg from September 12-14, 2017.
On Thursday 14th September Isle will be doing a presentation on ‘The Technology Approval Group (TAG) – technology transfer initiative for Sub-Saharan Africa’.
The Technology Approval Group (TAG) is a global water technology innovation network set up to facilitate technology transfer, introducing novel technologies and solutions to water utilities to enhance existing infrastructure, reduce cost, improve efficiency, and provide sustainable services for the future. In 2015 Isle established regional groups in Sub-Saharan Africa to help African utilities engage with new but resilient technologies and processes to increase preparedness to the vulnerability of water and climate change-related challenges.
