Sylvia joined Isle in 2018 and has since been involved in numerous international consultancy projects in the drinking water & wastewater sector as well as the industrial sector. During her BSc and MSc study in the Netherlands, Sylvia gained various practical experiences such as working in different continents, in a German environmental research institute and a Dutch start-up consulting company about sustainability issues. Her professional background lies with environmental and water technology while her personal passion is with circular economy and systems thinking. From 2019, Sylvia is organizing the European Urban Resilience TAG forum for both cities and water utilities to tackle the next step to become resilient - to implement technologies to adapt to changing climate conditions and to exchange knowledge on best practices to do so.
