During her last six years as a water sector professional, Nicole leveraged strategic communications and a foundation in water science to support research, policy and marketing initiatives at the Federal, regional and local level. Most recently, she coordinated stakeholder engagement campaigns for DC Water and partnering utilities throughout the Metropolitan Washington region. Her strong technical background and interdisciplinary professional experience have contributed to advancements in public relations and innovation for utility stakeholders across the U.S. Nicole graduated from the Water Environment Federation’s 2014 Water Leadership Institute and served on the 2015 steering committee. She has received professional certifications from the Emergency Management Institute, the U.S. Green Building Certification Institute and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
Nicole has a Master’s degree in Environmental Science from American University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies from Eckerd College.
