Kathi is a civil engineer with three years of experience in the water and wastewater utility sector. Most recently, she was co-managing the City of Bend’s (Oregon) integrated water system master plan — working with a diverse team of water operators, conservationists, and water rights experts to develop a 20-year capital improvement program — and supporting construction of capital projects. Kathi also spent two years in the Peace Corps as a Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) Volunteer, working with indigenous communities in Panama on training their local water committees in administering and maintaining their aqueducts and sanitation facilities. At Isle, she aims to bring her skills and passion for collaboration and communication to the TAG program and in facilitating innovation in the water sector.
Kathi has a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Environmental Engineering and Water Resources from Columbia University. She is an active member of the Pacific Northwest Clean Water Association’s Racial and Social Justice Subcommittee and also serves on the board of Strengthening Central Oregon PAC, advocating for candidates from underrepresented communities to run for local office.
