Alex joins Isle with 3 years of experience in the wastewater utility and research sectors. Most recently, he served as a project manager with King County’s Recycled Water Program and as a Research Intern with the Water Research Foundation. Alex’s graduate research focused on the public health implications of advanced wastewater treatment and water reuse. Other areas of expertise and previous research include decentralized wastewater treatment, potable reuse, contaminants of emerging concern (CECs) and resource recovery. Alex is an active member of the WateReuse Association’s educational advisory committee.
Alex has a Master’s degree in Public Health from George Washington University and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology from Western Washington University.
