Call for Innovation – Condition Assessment of Drinking Water Pipelines

Calling all developers, suppliers, users and marketeers of Condition Assessment Technologies

Calling all developers, suppliers, users and marketeers of Condition Assessment Technologies

Condition Assessment of aging underground infrastructure is increasingly becoming a priority for the water sector. Knowing what the status and likelihood of failure of a pipeline actually is gives network operators the edge to place investments for rehabilitations sensibly.

With an increasing number of different methods on the market and in development, the choice of the ideal technology for a specific purpose can be daunting. With this in mind, Isle has developed the Condition Assessment Technology wizard (CATwizard) – an online platform where Asset Managers can search, compare and discuss solutions on the basis of independently reviewed information. The CATwizard community is currently made up of 120+ expert users from 20+ water utilities from around the world – members are based in 5 European countries, the USA and in Australia.

Isle is putting forward this call for innovation to further activate the interactions between developers/suppliers of solutions, their end users and other stakeholders, unlocking market potentials and disseminating best practices and innovation.

If you know of a technology (research stage or market ready, inside or outside of the water sector) that you think should be represented on the CATwizard, please leave us a note on this form or contact bastian.piltz@isleutilities.com

All entrants will be evaluated to assess their suitability for the platform. The most innovative solution can win a speaking slot at Utility Week Live in May 2019 – The biggest UK utilities industry exhibition (*subject to conditions).
