Bethany is a Technology Consultant for Isle Utilities and is based in London. Bethany has over three years’ experience working in consultancy, having previously worked for a multinational engineering firm and a water and wastewater asset management company. Bethany holds an MSc in Environmental Engineering from Cranfield University, where she specialised in water treatment, resource management and completed a consultancy project for Tarmac. Since joining Isle, Bethany has developed her research and reporting skills and is able to synthesise and interpret information to draw out key conclusions and map out strategy. Bethany has worked with technology companies looking to enter the UK market, developed horizon scans in areas such as resource recovery and water reuse and supported a number of water companies with their PR19 innovation submissions. Bethany is interested in innovation management and the adoption of new technology to promote sustainability in the water sector.
Bethany has recently delivered a collaborative technology trial, managing and reporting on trials at three hosts sites across Europe. She ran an ideas sprint at the Northumbrian Water Innovation Festival and is currently developing the Cross Sector Innovation Group in the UK.
